After kicking the month off with a successful Combat Robotics tournament, we head into the home stretch with ROBOTICON having negotiated two hurricanes causing one event, the VEX V5 tournament, to be moved to Dec. 21, and a fun FIRST Tech Challenge scrimmage that put us back on track. Our big finish is the ROBOTICON FIRST Robotics Competition two-day off-season, November 2 & 3. Now it’s time to start meeting some of the great teams attending that event, starting with Middleton High School’s team 1369, Minotaur!
Founded in 2004, Middleton High School’s robotics programs are making their comeback after COVID. Over thirty students from different magnet programs all around Tampa make up FIRST Robotics Competition Team 1369, Minotaur. Team sponsors include National Gypsum, Google, and the Bay Area Manufacturers Association.
You can see this great team in action at the ROBOTICON off-season tournament at University Mall in Tampa on Nov. 2 & 3 from 11 am to 5 pm each day!
