A Renaissance team in every respect, this team has been at ROBOTICON every year, since we expanded our off-season event into a full scale FIRST Showcase event in 2014. Meet FTC Team 5937 Renaissance Robotics!
Renaissance Robotics is a student-led, co-ed, homeschooled, FIRST Tech Challenge team 
based out of Apopka, Florida. They take their team name seriously and can often be found with a castle inspired booth, Renaissance attire and their every popular demo “Joust Bots” program.
They are regulars on the demo circuit and often found volunteering at community and FIRST events. The team loves new challenges – this summer all six team members (including four brand new ones!), two alumni & three parent mentors passed their amateur radio licence test.
The teams local alumni are frequently at practice and others mentor the team long distance. Renaissance Robotics has won a variety of awards, but what is more important to them is living up to their team motto and being “Friends worth crossing centuries for.”
Come out to ROBOTICON and make new friends and get inspired by Renaissance Robotics and our other FTC great teams, on October 12!
