Roll out the red carpet – Here comes Royal Robotics, of River Ridge High School in Pasco County!
Founded in 2015, Royal Robotics has been a touchstone in the Pasco community, holding yearly summer
STEM camps, supporting several creative and fabrication groups at school, coaching Lego League teams, presenting and demonstrating to other schools and businesses, and bringing the royalty right to the people at 100 feet per second by way of its pneumatic cannon bot named Gopsi.
Fun Fact: Royal Robotics was founded by Sam McAmis, designer, builder, and captain of Team Gruff, which competed on Discovery Channel’s Battlebots seasons 4-7 with its imposing flamethrower.
Royal Robotics sponsors include: Pall Aerospace, Infinity Technology Solutions, Octopus Rift, Gene Haas Foundation, Rotary Club of New Port Richey, and Pasco Education Foundation.
You can see Royal Robotics in the ROBOTICON Off-Season October 17 & 18 by securing your free guest tickets here.
