We’re happy to announce the 12th annual ROBOTICON Tampa Bay STEM Showcase, organized each fall by the Foundation for Community Driven Innovation, a nonprofit educational organization, and AMRoC Fab Lab, in partnership with PLUGHITZ Live and other fine community partners.
The event is free and open to the public and runs the entire month of October and into the first weekend of November, as a Manufacturing Month event. All events occur at AMRoC Fab Lab and University Mall (2200 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL 33612) in Tampa, where AMRoC is located.
Here’s the schedule so far:
- Fri Oct 4 – Look for our virtual event kicking off ROBOTICON 2024 and introducing Going Places with
Manufacturing Day, in partnership with Scoutlier - Sat Oct 5 – Combat tournament
- Sat. Oct 12 – REC Foundation Aerial Drone Competition plus our first “Girl Powered” Workshop
- Sat. Oct 19 – VEX V5 tournament and VEX U Skills Challenges
- Sat. October 26 – FIRST Tech Challenge Build and Practice Day
- Sat. and Sun., Nov 2 & 3 – FIRST Robotics Competition Off-Season
We’re also hosting an Alumni Social and a Volunteer & Sponsor Social during the event month,as well as a Career and College Expo, workshops and other special events throughout ROBOTICON 2024.
