Seriously, what’s not to love in a team called the Coyote Moon Amoebas?!  The Coyote Moon Amoebas are a community-based, all-girl FIRST LEGO League Junior team, some of our youngest innovators. They are all in the third grade at Alafia Elementary School, and this is their second year participating. Team member Ava shared her experiences with a summer STEM program at Nelson Elementary and at the Mini Maker Faire at Glazer Children’s Museum. They want to thank Ring Power, the Tampa River Center in Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, and the Straz Center for the Performing Arts for the amazing Boomtown Build field trips.

Come see the Coyote Moon Amoebas (sorry, that’s fun to say!) at ROBOTICON Tampa Bay on October 12, and ask them to tell you all about their Boomtown Build project for this season’s new challenge!  We still have room for more FIRST LEGO League Jr teams at ROBOTICON – Teams can register here.  Get free public tickets at Eventbrite.
