Every year we share stories about the teams participating in ROBOTICON in our Team Spotlight series.  This year, we kick things off with Middleton Robotics, a big program serving over 100 students at Middleton High School, and impacting far more.  Read on for a welcome message from Middleton Robotics president, Ankit:

Middleton Robotics President Ankit, his staff, and all the members of our club want to welcome you to beautiful Tampa Bay!

We are from the historic George S. Middleton High School in Tampa, FL. Now home to four championship-level teams, FRC 1369 Minotaur, FTC teams 3846 Maelstrom and 4997 Masquerade, and VEX 6260X Minerva, we were founded in 2003 with only 15 students and one mentor. Over many seasons we have risen to over 100 students and 20 mentors. We’ve had 18 FIRST Championship appearances, including at least 1 team every year since 2008. We are most proud of our 7 Dean’s List Finalists in the past 5 years and our Woodie Flowers Award Finalist last year at South Florida. The community is one of our most important targets, with us participating over 2500 hours, impacting more than 70,000 people. Our goal is to help others-

Gotta problem that needs solving?

Who you gonna call?
