Meet FIRST Robotics Competition Team 5145, WolfBotics, is a FIRST Robotics Competition team from Gainesville, FL. Our team is comprised of students from St. Francis Catholic Academy and we are now entering our 6th year. We are very excited to return for our 4th ROBOTICON!

After successfully hosting our 3rd annual Swamp Stomp FIRST LEGO League Qualifier last year, our team is currently planning its 4th annual offseason outreach event for this December. We are planing a practice event for November as well, where the FIRST LEGO League students can learn from the judges on how they can improve their robots and projects before competing at Swamp Stomp or other competitions. We are also sending students out to mentor some of our local FIRST LEGO League teams, with the hope of inspiring them to continue their journeys in FIRST by becoming members of WolfBotics.

Our team is very student driven and hands on in the way we work. Last year we only had 12 students, which made us one of the smallest teams at the 2018 World Championship in Houston, Texas. We all take pride on being a part of this team, where we work together to showcase our knowledge and abilities in the S.T.E.M. field.

Be sure to keep an eye out for our mascot Wolfie, who loves to dance and can be seen showing off his dance moves during the Cotton Eyed Joe!

Special thanks to this year’s sponsors, St. Francis Catholic Academy and the State of Florida.
