We’re especially happy to welcome new, rookie teams to ROBOTICON, and this year we have a few. FIRST Tech Challenge team 14189, VISION, from Tampa Bay, is one of them.
We are a community team that is spread across Hillsborough and Pasco counties. Our team name is VISION which stands for Victory IS In Our Nature. Our team number is 14189.
We are a rookie FIRST Tech Challenge team. Most of our team members are from other FIRST LEGO League teams such as the IncrediBotz, Porygon Programmers, Ev3rstormers, IvyBots and one rookie. Last season the IncrediBotz and the Porygons went to the Razorback Invitational in Arkansas, and the IncrediBotz went to World Festival in their first season two years ago.
We have received support this season from Rockwell Collins, FUNducation, Accountability Team, and TechPlayzone.
Join us in welcoming VISION to their new FIRST Tech Challenge season, and join with them and our other K-12 teams in exploring all the amazing things they’re able to learn through robotics team experience.
