Check out our line up of workshops and presentations at ROBOTICON this year, and make sure students take time out between scrimmages and practice matches to learn from our great event partners.

A very special opportunity this year is our Manufacturing the Future panel discussion, on Saturday October 7 at 11am.  Moderated by FIRST Mentor, Greg Serio, of  The People of Manufacturing, students will hear the perspectives and insights of representatives from   SOFWERX, Lockheed Martin, JPMorgan Chase, St. Petersburg College Workforce Institute, Polk State College, USF Engineering, Solid Professor, Sonny’s: The Car Wash Factory, and have a chance to ask questions and speak with these industry professionals.

On Sunday, at 10:30am, FIRST Robotics Competition team 1902, Exploding Bacon, hosts an open forum on the creation of an alliance of Florida FIRST teams. “We invite mentors and students from rookie and veteran teams alike to meet, share ideas, and gauge interest in forming a coalition to help Florida teams form a better network to collaborate and develop stronger Florida teams.” Teams can also meet Wendy Austin, the new Orlando Regional Director.
